Verndale tramples Mille Lacs, WHA, falls to Henning

On Thursday, February 24 the Pirates Boys Basketball team traveled to Onamia to play the Mille Lacs Raiders.

The Pirates had a great defensive effort only giving up 18 points and collecting 22 steals on the night winning by a score of 66-18.

Brandon Greenwaldt had 19 points and 11 rebounds. Josh Johnson had 11 points and 4 assists. Ben Brownlow had 9 points and 9 assists. The win brought the Pirates’ record to 11-9 overall. . .
