The Wadena County Commissioners held their regular meeting on August 1.

Cannabis Discussion

Commissioner Ron Noon looked at neighboring counties’ ordinances on cannabis and discussed how Wadena County should approach the new legalization of recreational marijuana.

Noon is not opposed to medical use, but is not in favor of recreational use. His over 30 years in law enforcement have shown him the dangers this could pose.

Noon would like to put a moratorium in place until they can figure this out. . .
