The Wadena County Commissioners held their regular meeting on December 14.
County Feed Lot Annual Report
Mitchell Janson reviewed the 2022-2023 feedlot plan. They are in a four-year cycle and are receiving registrations for feedlot inspections. They have to inspect seven percent of feedlots. There are not many left in the county.
If the lot is non-compliant they will work with the producer to become compliant within a realistic time frame. There are 81 registered feedlots, the largest being 699 animals. . .
