The Wadena County Commissioners held their regular meeting on July 19.

Ag Society Allocation

Approved the $15,000 payment to the Ag Society. This was approved in the budget. Auditor/Treasurer Heather Olson shared that there are situations happening and they need to be aware of what they say is being allocated, and they have to be good stewards of public funding and that those funds are safe.

Commissioner Murlyn Kreklau was curious if it goes into their account that it will be used as intended or if there is problems with said account, such as it getting frozen. . .
