Wettstein injured in an accident: Benefit to be held on July 16

Derek Wettstein of the Long Prairie area was burned in an accident on May 21. He suffered second and third-degree burns over his left arm, hand, and chest.

Derek was attempting to start a pressure washer when it backfired and caused him to go up in flames right before the eyes of his 5-year-old daughter.

Fortunately, Derek is a volunteer firefighter and knew what to do to prevent further injuries and put out the flames. . .
