Wolves Tested in Packed Week of Girls Wrestling

The Wolves traveled to Benson on January 27.
Giselle Ahedo led the way against Pillager for the Wolves with a strong win by decision, controlling the pace of her match and securing team points. Lily Tolifson battled hard but was pinned in her match, while Brynn Sudbeck faced a challenging opponent and came up short by major decision. Despite the results, the Wolves continued to gain experience and toughness as they competed against Pillager.
The Wolves girls wrestling team faced BBE. Brielle Flan, Kelsey Schmitt, and Ellie Halonen each battled tough opponents but came up short, all falling by pin.
On January 29 they traveled to Hawley.
The Wolves girls wrestling team turned in a strong performance against UCB, earning key victories in dual action. Kelsey Schmitt continued her impressive season with a win by fall, controlling her match and securing the pin to put points on the board for the Wolves. Brynn Sudbeck followed with a pin of her own, finishing her match decisively and adding momentum to the lineup.
