Wolves Wrestlers Place Fourth

The Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Browerville Wolves were represented by five wrestlers at the Minnesota State Individual Wrestling Tournament, held February 25–28 at Grand Casino Arena, with several athletes earning podium finishes against the state’s top competition. All wrestlers entered the tournament with impressive season records and brought their experience to the mat.

At 121 pounds, junior Hunter Katterhagen (32-7) defeated Maximus Schiefelbein of Kimball Area (25-18) and Bentley Miller of Westfield (38-8) to reach the semifinals. Katterhagen fell to Chatfield’s Jameson Priebe (41-5) but returned in the consolation bracket with a win over Miles Barclay of St. Charles (46-5) before losing to Caden Kramer of Staples-Motley (43-6), finishing fourth in the state...
