Youth group exceeds their goal for the Big Give Night

The Elevate Youth Ministries at the Verndale Family Life Church far exceeded their goal expectations on November 17 during the annual, statewide Big Give Night.
Youth Pastor Ryan Wolfenden had given the youth group a goal of $1750 to raise for the occasion, which is half of their $3500 yearly goal.
The youth group continues to sponsor The Light Foundation, which in turn donates to their chosen missionary FREE International and local missionary Caleb Monson and their fight to end sex trafficking. The funds are used to purchase equipment such as mobile command centers used by FREE International.
“The kids have been excited for the Big Give Night for a while, saving up money,” said Youth Pastor Ryan Wolfenden.
As Wolfenden spread the word on social media for the Big Give Night, a person in South Dakota offered to do matching donations, $20 for every $100 donated. This energized the students to work even harder. . .
