News from Eagle Bend's Past 25 Years Ago May 9, 2001 Joseph Harren, Kayla Salathe, Katie Asfeld, Trevor Ahrendt and Justin Smith, students at Eagle Valley School, participated in the regional Math Masters of Minnesota Challenge at Osakis High School on May 4. The team’s advisor/coach is Mr. Jenkins. News from Verndale's Past 40 Years Ago, May 14, 1986 • New FFA chapter officers for the 1986-87 year are: Mike Willis, president; Loren Horsager, vice president; Peter Schmitz, treasurer; Ken Moyer, sentinel; Bridget Perish, secretary; and Brenda Line, reporter. Alternates named were Mary Tiede, Synette Plautz, and Damon Butler. A movie entitled “Be All You Can Dream” was shown during the program.
