News from Bertha and Hewitt's Pasts 25 Years Ago November 22, 2000 Dave Ruby was at the November 13 Bertha City Council meeting. Ruby talked to the council about the schedule for the Bertha Community Center’s completion. The week of the 13th, they plan to get the roof metal and wall metal put up. The Browerville VFW Post 8391, Browerville American Legion Post 293, and Clarissa American Legion Post 0213 presented the flags and participated in the recognition of our veterans.
