A celebration honoring Dr. Pate


Dr. John Pate retired from his role as EMS Medical Director.

A drive-by parade was held on May 20 for Dr. John Pate who is retiring from his role as EMS Medical Director.

He will be limiting his family practice but will continue to see patients at Tri-County Health Care.

Dr. Pate currently serves on the Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board, State of Minnesota, and has since 2015. He was the chief medical officer from 2011-2015, has served in family practice since 1992, and served as EMS and ALS Medical Director since 1993.

A retirement party was taking place at The Depot in Wadena the day Dr. Pate was surprised with the drive-by parade. Partaking in the event were fire trucks and ambulances from Wadena, Verndale, Bertha, Hewitt, and Henning. . .
