Randy Beaver was an extraordinary individual who left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered throughout his life. A devoted husband, father, and friend, Randy’s contributions to the Verndale community were immeasurable. Randy’s legacy is marked by both his personal connections and his unwavering commitment to improving the lives of those around him.
His untimely passing on May 22 has left the community in mourning, but a benefit scheduled for June 28 will celebrate his remarkable life and the everlasting mark he made in Verndale and beyond.
Randy was a lifelong resident of Verndale and is a descendant of the town’s founder. He grew up on a dairy farm, where he learned the value of hard work. Randy often reminisced about his time in 4-H and showing his animals at the State Fair.
He was married to his wife, Judy, for 46 years, and they had two daughters, Shantel and Chelsa. Shantel’s husband, Nick, is the son Randy had always wanted. The couple has two grandchildren, Blake and Avery....
