Bears drop two

This past week the Bertha-Hewitt Bears took on the Menahga Braves and Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines in Park Region Conference action.
The Bears dropped both games, 64-29 and 63–35 respectively.
The Bears started the week taking on the Wolverines. Wadena-Deer Creek built a quick 8–0 lead before the Bears’ Rochelle got her own rebound and finish to get the Bears on the board.
Dean had another put back and Ashley Warren took the ball to the rim on a drive to cut into the WDC lead 11–7.
The Bears went cold from the floor allowing the Wolverines to extend their lead to 20 at halftime.
The second half started with the Bears and Wolverines trading baskets before the Wolverines were able to end the game on an 8–0 run to defeat the Bears 63–35. . .
