Bears have a tough start but cap off the week with a victory

The Bertha-Hewitt Bears volleyball team had a tough start to the week. Traveling to Parkers Prairie to take on the Panthers was much anticipated. Unfortunately all three teams fell to the Panthers. The C-team struggled with serve receiving making it hard to set a play up.
JV also struggled with serve receiving along with little energy and determination.
The Bears managed some strong hits and were able to put a solid block up but they fell 0-2 to the Panthers. Varsity ended the night 0-3.
The first set was a tough loss but the Bears came back to keep it close in the second and third pulling ahead at some points. Unfortunately, the Bears couldn’t keep the momentum and lost in three sets to the Panthers. . .
