Bears stung by State’s fifth-ranked Hornets

In a challenging match against the State’s fifth-ranked Henning Hornets, the Bertha-Hewitt Bears faced stout competition and unfortunately fell to a final score of 84-33.

Despite early turnovers, the Bears showcased a commendable defensive effort, successfully containing the Hornets for the initial 13 minutes of the game.

With 6 minutes left in the first half, the score stood at 22-8, reflecting a significant improvement from the Bears’ previous encounter with the Hornets....
