Bears take on many foes on the week

This past week the Bertha-Hewitt Bears took on the Henning Hornets, Battle Lake Battlers, and the Pillager Huskies.
The week started off with the Bears traveling to Henning. The Hornets were all over the Bears at the start of the game jumping out to a 17–4 lead over the first 4 minutes. At the end of the first half, the Hornets led 46–12.
To begin the second half the Hornets capitalized on the Bears' turnovers to extend their lead to 35. Over the final 9 minutes, the Bears were able to get some offense started finishing the game on a 21–5 run, but they had dug themselves too deep of a hole to overcome.
Leading the way for the Bears was Taylor Lloyd, who finished the game with 11 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists. Carissa Winscher chipped in 8 points and 7 rebounds. Ava Bauch added 7 points and Ashley Warren had 6 points. . .
