The Bertha-Hewitt boys basketball team earned a 72–63 home win over Long Prairie–Grey Eagle on January 27.
Brady Rach led the Bears with a game-high 21 points, adding five assists, four steals, and six rebounds to fuel the victory. Logan Nelson provided a strong scoring spark, finishing with 16 points on an efficient 6-of-7 shooting from the field.
Jalen Hinzmann contributed 10 points and a team-best six assists, while Trenton Becker added nine points and five rebounds. Garrett Becker finished with seven points and two steals, and Quintin Flynn chipped in four points.
Bertha-Hewitt moved the ball well throughout the game, recording multiple assists across the lineup. Defensively, the Bears forced turnovers, led by Rach’s four steals and steals from Becker and Becker.
