Breitlings are Grand Marshals for this year’s parade

Les and Diane Breitling will be the Grand Marshals for this year’s Verndale Days parade which will be held on July 26 at 6 p.m. 

The Breitlings are honored to have been asked to be Grand Marshals for the Verndale Celebration parade. They have lived in the Verndale area for the past 48 years. They have three children, Kristi, Shawna, and Luke, who were very active in the Verndale School and community.

As parents, Les and Diane were also very involved in the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, softball, football, and any other activities their kids were participating in at the time.

Les was born in North Dakota and spent many years in Lodi, California. Following his service in the Army, Les moved to Alexandria....
