Browerville Legacy Museum Opens Its Doors for Browerville Days

Browerville now has a physical location to store the town’s history with the opening of the Browerville Legacy Muesum.
The idea for the museum came from the Browerville Connection Reunion. This event was created to celebrate the history and heritage of Browerville and reconnect former residents, families and friends with ties to the community. The gathering featured presentations on the town’s history, roundtable discussions, recognition of military veterans and community members, and more.
“It kind of blew me away,” said Alan Fenner, recalling the moment the idea truly took shape at the Browerville Connection Reunion. “The center was full of trifolds, information, stories…I had not seen or realized the scope of what Ron and Jane [Brown] and her crew had done. And I said, we need to have some place that this can be preserved and enjoyed for the future.”
From that nudge, the work began to launch the Browerville Legacy Museum in early 2025. Fenner, a longtime city council member, began researching what it would take to make the museum a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit...
