The Browerville-Eagle Valley softball team continued their streak of busy weeks with another four games as they move closer to playoff season.
The Tigers opened their week with a game at Battle Lake to take on the Ottertail Central Bulldogs.
The Tigers bats were quiet early but woke up in the later innings as they scored a combined seven runs in the 6th and 7th innings to secure the 7-4 victory.
Senior Ava Lorentz had 2 hits on the day, and Sophomore Elsie Puck provided the big blow in the 6th inning with a 2-out 2-RBI single that gave the Tigers the lead.
Sophomore Bristol Bruder struck out nine Bulldogs to help secure the win.
On Thursday, the Tigers hosted the Upsala Cardinals for a Prairie Conference doubleheader in the cold, rainy, windy spring conditions.
