Clarissa Grad Enters MN Wrestling Hall of Fame With 559 Wins

Former Clarissa High School graduate and longtime Minneota wrestling coach Joel Skillings was honored in a big way earlier this spring. At the Minneota wrestling banquet, he became the newest inductee into the prestigious Wally Pesch Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Skillings, who retired in 2019, wrapped up an incredible 31-year coaching career with a jaw-dropping record of 559-174-4.

At the time of his retirement, he ranked No. 8 all-time in Minnesota wrestling coaching wins. His 2015 team clinched the Class A state title, and he was named Class A Coach of the Year twice....
