Commitment Trial Set for August

A petition has been filed to civilly commit Patrick Lyndon Walker, 35, of Clarissa, as a sexually dangerous person following his release from prison in April 2026.
The filing came after a viral PredPatrol video allegedly showed Walker communicating online with someone he believed was a 13-year-old girl, sending explicit photos, and arranging a meeting in St. Cloud.
Court records cite Walker’s lengthy history of sexual offenses, probation violations, failed treatment attempts, substance abuse, and mental health issues as reasons for the petition seeking commitment to the Minnesota Sex Offender Program.
