Dave and Karen started running five years ago and have celebrated their birthdays each year by running five miles.
• Something new has been added to Main Street. Like a skunk, Main Street, as of last week, has acquired two yellow stripes down the middle. The purpose of this is to eliminate the practice of having drivers cross over to park or back from parking spaces, considered by the council as a very dangerous procedure. Nothing could be done with these errant drivers, but now these lines put teeth into the practice and they can be ticketed.
