The Grinch made a special appearance at the Farmers to Families food drop at the Verndale Family Life Church on December 15. Lilly Roberts posed for a picture with the Grinch. The Farmers to Families food drop distributed 931 boxes of food and 932 gallons of milk on December 15. The boxes contained cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, carrots, onions, oranges, potatoes, liquid eggs, hot dogs, pulled pork, sausage links, sour cream, and apples. Four lanes were created to get people through the line quickly. All of the boxes of food were distributed.
