Four injured in UTV accident
On March 20, at approximately 5:44 p.m., the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office and other emergency personnel were dispatched to the 24000 block of County Road 139 for a UTV rollover. Two volunteer firemen were in the area coyote hunting when they came across a UTV that rolled onto its side and called for an ambulance. It was reported that there were two individuals were injured.
Emergency personnel arrived on the scene to find a 2020 Polaris Ranger, turned over in the ditch, resting on its passenger side. It appeared as though the UTV was eastbound on County Road 139 when the driver lost control and the machine began to fishtail, causing it to roll onto its side and come to rest in the ditch. . .
