News from Clarissa's Past
December 20, 2000
It takes a lot of hard work and determination to start a band and stick with it, but that’s just what two local teens have done. Jon Cline, 16, of Browerville, and J.J. Korfe, 18, of Clarissa, started playing together about three years ago. More recently, Lucas Uchoa, 16, of Brazil, has become the vital third member of their group. They are doing so well they are in the process of putting together a compact disc. They have plans to send the CD to two recording studios in Seattle, Washington, and one studio in California. They have been practicing together under the name “All Unchained.”

Dear Santa,
I have been a very, very, very bad boy. I know it and so do my friends. I know I’m not getting anything from you, but please give my friends Russell Stover candy. Please let me sample each piece of candy before you deliver it. I don’t want my friends to get sick. From, “Albie”.
