The Eagle Valley boys basketball team brought home a second place medal from Verndale’s Holiday Tournament. Parkers Prairie, Eagle Valley and Browerville traveled to Verndale for two nights of exciting basketball. Although the outside temperature was far below zero, the games inside were exciting with a lot of hustle by all the teams. The Rebels started out their game with a smaller, faster lineup to match up with the Panthers. In the first quarter, Parkers Prairie led the scoring by a 16-12 margin. Eagle Valley played with a lot of intensity. The Rebels had balanced scoring in their attack with Josh Motl, Greg Holmquist, Cole Hayes, and JJ Korfe all in the double digits.
