It is a long way from the stages of New York City to those of the Eagle Valley High School. But Thomas Dunn seems happy to be making that change. Dunn was recently hired by the Eagle Valley School Board to direct the school’s one and two act plays. He spent eight years as director of the New Dramatists for New York City. During this time he also taught, directed, and wrote the first three of his published books.
Mr. and Mrs. Gary Haffner had as their Thanksgiving dinner guests Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Hanson, John, Chris and Tim and Janet Murphy of Maple Grove, Tony Murphy, Michelle Wilson, and Bennet Wilson, all of St. Cloud.

Two former classmates met near Bien Hoa, Vietnam earlier this month. They were Sp/4 David Thorpe and E03 David Fragodt. They were both 1967 graduates of the Clarissa High School.
The Clarissa school subscription drive for The Independent, an annual event, ended recently, The tabulation of sales of their hometown newspaper brought the Student Council a total of $110.75 plus a bonus of $50 for a total of $160.75.
