Hit and run accident results in injuries

According to a report from the Todd County Sheriff’s Office, on June 7 at approximately 11:39 p.m. they responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian accident on County Road 10 in rural Long Prairie.

Dameon Chenoweth, rural Long Prairie, was walking on the westbound shoulder when he was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound.

The vehicle struck Chenoweth and continued westbound on County Road 10.

Chenoweth sustained substantial injuries and was transported to the Long Prairie Hospital. . .
