Hit and run driver identified
A hit-and-run accident that resulted in an injury took place on June 7 in rural Long Prairie.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call for the vehicle vs. pedestrian accident which took place at approximately 11:39 p.m.
Dameon Chenoweth was walking on the westbound shoulder when he was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound. The vehicle struck Chenoweth and continued westbound on County Road 10.
Chenoweth sustained substantial injuries. He is now recovering at home.
The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Sarah Marjorie Browen of Osakis.
The case remains under investigation so only public information has been provided.
