Injuries, Defense Highlight Challenging Start to Second Half for Tigers

The Tigers opened up the second half of their season with a road trip to Bertha-Hewitt to take on the section opponent. The Tigers started out the game two girls short due to injuries and an early injury to M. Riedel, and the Tigers would find themselves with a trove of different line-ups throughout the night. Despite the different line-ups, the Tigers did an incredible job stepping up and playing team defense against a very physical BH team. The Tigers, however, struggled to put the ball through the rim and, with only 4 made field goals in the second half, fell short by a score of 43-35. The Tigers dominated the boards with Raylann Morgan pulling down 19 total rebounds and Lydia Reed hauling in 11. Leading the Tigers in scoring were Allie Bartels and Lydia Reed with 9 points each...
