Huskies 48 vs. Pirates 36

The Pillager Huskies cruised to a 48-36 victory over the Verndale Pirates.

Verndale found difficulties getting into an offensive rhythm as they committed 21 turnovers.

On the night, the Pirates hit 11 of their 39 field goal attempts (28%). The Pirates forced 14 Husky turnovers. Madison Schmitz played only the first few minutes of the game before suffering an injury, so the Pirates played with little or no breaks. Taylor Johnson scored in double figures with 11 points.
