To the Editor:

No Reason To Die

Who am I?

My name is Norman Hagelstrom. I was born at the Thiel hospital in Bertha on January 27, 1940. I graduated from Bertha-Hewitt School in 1958.

I have spent the last sixty plus years studying the human mind. The following is what I’ve learned.

Our cells are constantly dying every few days to ten years. New young cells replace these retiring cells. If we completely renew our cells every ten years why do they wear out? They wear out because of our abuse and neglect.

Nutrition and religious beliefs can be a key in living a long healthy life.

Using our conscious and subconscious minds...

Our conscious mind does our everyday living by making day to day decisions. I’ll go to the store or maybe mow the lawn, these are instructions for our conscious mind.

Our subconscious mind, our spirit, is every where and is available for all people. It is everywhere and we can use it. There is only one subconscious mind in the universe and that is what we are part of.

Our mind as we can understand it is our spirit or soul. We are all connected together by our (spirit) subconscious mind.

Isn’t it strange that we talk to God and beg (pray) but no one has ever been able to describe exactly what God is? Maybe it’s because there is no visible form, only that the entity is everywhere.

Mental telepathy is one of the many extreme things that is available to us by using our subconscious mind. Psychic capabilities is another—sounds unreal doesn’t it?

The subconscious mind acts on a 24/7 clock controlling roughly 98% of human behavior, habits, emotions, and bodily functions (like breathing). It operates with conscious awareness, processing information based on our beliefs, past experiences, and childhood experiences to make rapid, automatic decisions. So why can’t it heal us?

Using prayer or self hypnosis or meditation one can learn to influence (not control) our subconscious mind. Our subconscious is the power of our spirit. If this is true why can’t our subconscious mind heal our body? I believe it can.

Don’t ask, demand. If we cut our skin our subconscious goes to work immediately to heal it. Why can’t it do the same for a disease? I believe it can.

The task we all need to work on is how do we communicate with our subconscious mind. No one teaches us—we need to learn on our own. Most people have no clue where to begin.

The answer may be as simple as asking our subconscious mind.

If you believe you can, try it and see what happens.

Always keep searching.

“Never doubt things you don’t know.”
