Life lessons in blowout loss to the Warriors

Last Friday, the Bertha-Hewitt Bears traveled to Wheaton to take on the Wheaton-Herman Norcross Warriors who came into the game 3-1. The only loss WHN has taken was from the #1 ranked Hancock Owls.

From the start to the finish, the Warriors dominated on their homecoming night. Every phase of the game from the offense, to defense, to special teams, the Bears didn’t get any traction.

“Wheaton came into the game very prepared and ready to go. They outplayed and out-coached us from the start,” stated Coach Hoemberg. . .
