Vicki Larson loves what she is doing. She must, she has been doing it for 10 years and is still going strong. She has owned and operated The Corner Market in Bertha since October 15, 1990. Vicki applied to the Small Business Management Course at Brainerd Technical College. She said at the time she was turned down flat. A week and a half later the program director called her with a plan. Vicki had to commit to going to college while working and raising seven children. Her classes would meet three nights a week for one quarter.
