The dedication ceremony for the new school gym was held last Sunday, March 4. It was a great opportunity for many to give thanks to the community for their part in passing the referendum to make the new school addition a reality. The Senior Ensemble sang “The Star Spangled Banner” and the band played a few numbers. It was truly a celebration of what a small community can accomplish. Speakers included Principal and Athletic Director Robert Sieling, Head Start Area Director Judy Pokorney, Superintendent Larry Werder, Mayor Gary Kleen, Board of Education Chairperson Sharon Howe, sixth grader and class of 2007 Molly Moenkedick, Senior Class President Stacy Denny and Student Council President Sarah Sieling.
