Stacy Gonsior was named All-Conference in Softball and Leah Michal and Christianne Oven were named All-Conference in track. Christianne was voted most valuable girl in the Prairie Conference meet.

County Attorney Chuck Rasmussen requested better communication between himself and Todd County Commissioners. Rasmussen told commissioners at their May 20 board meeting that he does not have time to sit in on board meetings, but they need to let him know when he is needed. Rasmussen said that Todd County has 15-20 percent higher major criminal cases than other counties and more contested hearings. He suggested the commissioners develop a county-wide prosecution arrangement with other cities in the county.
