Mary Drkula of Wadena has taken over the position of Principal at Christ the King School in Browerville. The position was made available due to the resignation of former Principal Catherine Krog. In addition to her principal duties, Mary also teaches second grade religion.

September 28, 1950
A plea for more applicants for ordnance inspector jobs in expanding defense plants was issued today by N.J. Oganovie, Eighth Region director of the U.S. Civil Service Commission. There are numerous immediate vacancies in government ordnance plants at the present time, Oganovie said in addition, vacancies arising in the future in plants and arsenals which have not yet determined their full personnel needs. They will be filled from eligible lists resulting from the current examination.

Kenneth Plotnik, a senior from Browerville, has been chosen to edit the prep section of the 1950-51 Sagatagan. The announcement was made last week by Reverend Stanley Roche, OSB, who is succeeding Reverend Eric Buerman, OSB, this year as moderator of the Sag. Father Eric will remain on the staff in the capacity of photography advisor.
