The Tigers showed off their Section 5A trophy to a large crowd of exuberant fans on Friday at the Fargo Dome. The Tigers cinched the championship, defeating the Eagle Valley Rebels 21-14. The Rebels were 10-0 for the season and had earlier handed Browerville their only loss for the season. The Tigers-Rebels game was one of the most exciting of the season. It was a great game!

The Browerville FBLA Chapter presented a proclamation to Mayor Stephen Wiersgalla declaring November 13 as “American Free Enterprise Day” in the city of Browerville. The proclamation is in appreciation of business owners and leaders for engaging in and exercising their right of free enterprise. FBLA members have been very busy planning activities to recognize and honor the business people in the community. Activities are being done in collaboration with the local S-T-W program.

November 6, 1950
The American Legion Auxiliary, William T. Lewis Unit No. 12 of Long Prairie, announced the start of their annual magazine subscription campaign. Mrs. Frank L. King, unit president, has stated that the commissions derived this year will be used to purchase several new portable adjustable hospital beds with mattresses for the treatment of patients in their own homes.

The annual Feather Party of St. Peter’s parish will be held on Monday evening, November 20. There will be a very nice collection of turkeys, geese, and chickens. Keep this date in mind. Everyone is cordially invited to attend.
