The Tigers defeated the Pillager Huskies on Monday in Conference Play, 58-42. Browerville jumped to an early lead and never trailed. The enthusiastic fans were treated to an exceptional game by our Tigers as they out-played the Huskies in all phases of the game. Pacing the Tigers were Ryan Gritz with 14 points followed by Jacob Boone and Josh Ostrowski with 13 points each.

Harvey Christensen, Lee Konetzko and Steve Beck enjoyed a light moment while serving up some hot cakes at the Lion’s Annual Super Bowl Breakfast held last Sunday at the community center.
75 Years Ago
February 1, 1951
The Browerville Firemen and their wives enjoyed a delicious chicken dinner at Dan’s Cafe last Wednesday evening. After the dinner, the evening was spent socializing and playing cards at city hall. Prize winners were Mrs. Lulu Heid, high, Mrs. Frank Eldred, low, Eli Lucas, door prize and Mrs. Cecil Monnie, the cute prize. A most pleasant evening was enjoyed by all.

Frank Eldred, manager of the Browerville Farmer’s Cooperative Creamery since September 1, 1936, has resigned from his position effective February 1. Mr. Eldred has not disclosed his future plans. He came to Browerville from Rice and since September 1, 1936, has been butter-maker here as well as an active member in all civic affairs. At present, he is a member of the public school board of education.
