New owner at Prairie Pharmacy

The outside looks the same but when you enter the Prairie Pharmacy on the main street in Long Prairie you may notice there is a new owner. Kristie Giesler purchased the pharmacy in January.

Giesler is a native of Osakis where she graduated high school. She inherited her great-great-grandmother’s home in rural Osakis where she resides.

Geisler attended Alexandria Technical College graduating with a degree in accounting. She then returned to college in her 30s where she received her pharmacy technician degree.

Her expertise also comes as a result of her extensive employment history in the pharmacy industry.

While in high school she took her first job working in a local pharmacy where she discovered her passion and love of helping people. Geisler was also employed for six years with the previous owner of Prairie Pharmacy prior to purchasing it. . .
