Pirates drop the ball to the Bears

The Verndale Pirates traveled to take on the Bertha-Hewitt Bears on Friday, September 20. It was the Bears’ Homecoming game and both teams were full of energy.

When all was said and done, the Pirates found themselves downed by the Bears by a final score of 14-20.
