Pirates Drop Two Conference Games to Bears and Tigers

On Tuesday, January 20, the Boys Basketball team traveled to Bertha to play the Bertha-Hewitt Bears. The Pirates lost by a score of 80-72. Braylin Deleon led the Pirates in scoring with 21 points. Chase Jensen added 17 points and 8 rebounds. Zain Waldahl led the way on the boards with 10 rebounds and was one point shy of a double-double, scoring 9 points. Joe Elfstrum grabbed 8 rebounds while Kyler Vertina had a team high 5 assists.
