Pirates take two

On Tuesday, February 21, the Verndale Pirates Boys Basketball started off the week by hosting the New York Mills Eagles and won by a score of 61-53.

Jaden Schulke tallied a double-double scoring 20 points and dishing out 10 assists. He also led the team in steals with 7. Shawn Schmitz added 13 points and Carter White added 12 points. Jeremy Haskin and Torii Hagen each had 6 rebounds to lead the Pirates on the boards. . .
