Pirates win over Bears, fall to Eagles

On Tuesday, January 21, the Verndale Pirates Boys Basketball team hosted the Bertha-Hewitt Bears and won by a score of 73-65.

In a night that saw the Pirates shoot 43% from the field and hit 16 of 41 three-pointers, the Pirates had four different players get 5 assists.

Otto Lehmann, Shawn Schmitz, Carter White and Braylin Deleon each had 5 assists on the night....
