Raiders boys take third in Park Region Conference Meet; Lady Raiders place sixth at Park Region Conference Meet

The Bertha-Hewitt-Verndale Track and Field team traveled to Wadena for the Park Region Conference meet on Tuesday, May 13.

The boys finished third overall in the eight team meet and had seven All-Conference performers.

Earning All-Conference by placing first in a relay or top two in an individual event were Dylan Day 200 meter dash (2nd - 23.45) and 400 meter dash (1st - 52.54), Brady Rach 800 meter run (1st - 2:01.52), 1600 meter run (1st - 4:43.67) and Long Jump (1st - 20’ 3.25”), Ethan Snorek 110m Hurdles (2nd - 17.22), Gunnar Barthel 300 meter Hurdles (1st - 45.17).

Relays teams capturing All-Conference honors were the 4x800 meter team of Gavin Brown, Isaac Radniecki, Henry Lockwood and Gunnar Barthel (1st - 9:06.35) and the 4x400 meter team of Gunnar Barthel, Isaac Radniecki, Dylan Day and Brady Rach (1st - 3:37.59)....

On Tuesday, May 13, the Lady Raiders traveled to Wadena to participate in the 2025 Park Region Conference meet. The Raiders placed 6th out of 7 teams.

Earning All Conference honors were: Lezah Dean - 400m (2nd - 1:03.39), Kendra Miller - 1600m (2nd - 5:40.26), 4x800 relay team of Miette Hansel, Kendra Miller, Piper Dean, and Lezah Dean (1st - 10:05.26), and 4x400 relay team of Miette Hansel, Kendra Miller, Piper Dean, and Lezah Dean.

Earning All Conference honorable mention honor was Aulani Johnson - 100m Hurdles (3rd - 19.05)....
