Raiders Compete at Craig Hougen Relays

The Bertha-Hewitt-Verndale Raider boys track and field team traveled to Bemidji State University on Tuesday, March 24, to compete in the Craig Hougen Relays. Competing in a 14-team field, the Raiders finished sixth overall with 38 points. Bemidji took top honors at the meet with 132 points.

The Raiders competed with a roster of 17 athletes, including 11 who were participating in their first varsity meet.

Leading the way individually for the Raiders, Dylan Day earned a second-place finish in the 200-meter dash. Henry Lockwood placed fifth in the 1600-meter run, while Nolan Rach added an eighth-place finish in the same event. Jakub Stovicek finished eighth in the 800-meter run, and Tristan Adams placed seventh in the 60-meter hurdles...
