Raiders Compete at Section 6A True Team Meet

The Bertha-Hewitt-Verndale Raider boys track and field team traveled to Frazee on Thursday, May 7, to compete in the Section 6A True Team Meet. The Raiders finished 11th out of 16 teams with 525 points. United Clay-Becker won the meet with 915 points.

Unlike traditional meets, the True Team format scores every athlete who finishes an event, with teams limited to two entries per individual event and one relay entry. The format places an emphasis on overall team depth and participation, resulting in significantly higher team scores than a standard invitational meet.
