Raiders finish eighth at Sertoma Duals

Last weekend the Raiders traveled to Grand Forks for the 48th Annual Sertoma Duals. It featured sixteen teams from across North Dakota and Minnesota. It also allowed for everyone to get competition as the varsity was a two-day event with a JV individual tournament on Friday. On Saturday, the girls and middle school divisions coincided with varsity competition. It was a lot of wrestling spread out over three gyms and eight mats. The opening round was drawn to start at 132 pounds which is a national federation rule that Minnesota has voted against. We got out to an early lead against Fargo Davies and never looked back. Three forfeits, for Bennet Arceneau, Tanner Schulke, and David Revering, in the first four matches made it 18-6 Raiders. . .
