Raiders perform well at Perham meet

by Coach Kenny Miller

The Raiders Boys Track and Field team traveled to Perham on Tuesday, April 15 for a very competitive 14 team meet which we once again saw temperatures in the low 40’s which made for some fast times on the track.

The Raiders placed 6th overall and had some very impressive performances.

Again Brady Rach set the tone by first breaking his own school record in the 1600m with a time of 4:27.06 while finishing first overall.

His previous record time was set in 2023 at 4:27.24.

Brady followed up that performance by crushing his 800m record with an effort of 1:55.8 bettering the current record of 2:01.33 which he set last week.

The rest of the Raiders team put up strong efforts in a variety of events.

Placing in the top 8 and scoring for the Raiders were Dylan Day 400m (3rd - 54.53), Ethan Snorek Long Jump (6th - 16’ 4”), Brady Rach 800m (1st - 1:55.80) and 1600m (1st - 4:27.06), Isaac Radniecki High Jump (3rd - 5’ 8”), Gunnar Barthel 300m Hurdles (7th - 46.43)....
